My small Italian bolthole is about 40km south of Trasimeno, we go there a lot, especially to the nature reserve near San Feliciano. The water levels are visibly reducing year by year, but we love it. Exactly as you describe.
Oh nice, I have friends in Todi and the surrounding area, maybe I will coincidently cover your town as well! :)
Parrano. It’s charming, but you can walk around the old town in 10 minutes! It does boast a thermal pool though…..
